You made this for me
I promised I'd always leave it on
I'd never take it off, even when you're gone
After you hung up tonight, I couldn't go to sleep
But I reminded myself that promises are to keep

You can never totaly let go off someone that you are that emotionally attatched to. I believe the correct advice would be to move on. Even though you will never be able to let her go you will eventually move on. And don't worry man, you do not need to rush this process. Take your time getting over her, and soon everything will be alright. To anyone advising him to hurry up and let her go, come back after you have had a real meaningful relationship in which you have ACTUALLY loved the other person. Then you will see that moving on is easier said then done.
